The VF-34 will do it if you go about it right. Along with what you have. . . .

Cut out any resonators in your exhaust, make sure it is 3" all the way
STi Injectors
Walbro Fuel Pump
Lightened Crank Pulley
Intercooler Hoses
and to help your car put it to the pavement better an ACT Clutch.

I think that will do it, I am not sure let me check back in with you in about a week. That will all be done to mine and I will post numbers.

I am gonna do my best to get myself in the 11's with a vf 34. . . even if it requires a new final gear and RA gearsets I will get there. Just to be there with a 34

you might want to add nitro to the list as well as you will never see 11 sec e.t in the quarter with a vf 34. i will bet my car on it,and i have 383 awhp and 364 tq. and i cant hit 11's the best power you will see is 290awhp with a vf34. here is my dyno plot.i am not trying to bash.

i agree, at best the vf34 with a link standalone will give you 300 whp, to get in the 11s i think a fpgreen is in need

You will have to treat the tranny like fine china or else R/A gearset here you come!

And I am planning on a bunch of drivetrain and hotter stuff on the top portion of the engine to see if I really can get into 11's with a 34. Cheers

okay ... there's just no way u'll be in the 11's ... a twin turbo charged viper with 800 hp and 850 torque runs flat 11's .. do you think a 2.0 L with a vf34 can match a v10 tt? ... i dont think so ( i read the results on the latest issue of car and driver)

Are we talking about USDM STi? If it is, it's a 2.5L engine not a 2.0L. I thought a Vishnu Stage 2 can get 11's on the track. A friend of mine went to Sacramento Raceway and saw a Aspen White STi with 11's. He was asked to slow down to 12's because he didn't have a helmet. My friend came and asked the driver, he mentioned he has the Vishnu Stage 2 setup.

In regards to turbo swap to get to 11's, it's possible, just gotta throw in few a things with it just like other people had suggested. Good luck!

Hell, there is a guy here in the SF Bay Area runing 13.2's on a bone stock STi...It is doable. Keep in mind that with that Viper it is probably not set up for drag, and I imagine it would have a hell of a time launching well. Puting power to the ground in that thing must be a major PITA.

If you want to get into the 11's on pump gas (93/94 octane gas) , just call the guys at Ultimat Racing up. Their stage 5 package for the wrx is good for high 11's on the stock tranny.

Be warned though, the stage 5 setup does not use a bolt on turbo. You will need to replace your uppipe and downpipe for versions that will accomodate the Garrett GT30r turbo that the kit is based around.

Oh... one more thing.. those that i know who have taken the package to the track with stock trannies came away with broken gears... As I understand it, if you drive normally, all is fine, but the tranny gives out on a full bore launch on the 1-2 shift.

The kit is also pretty damn expensive too... but as the saying goes..... if you want to play, ......
