downshift

After reading your post and looking through Vishnu web page, I have made up my mind about going with the stage 0 set-up. Once you installed your set-up can you pm me and give me some more feedbacks?

awesome, you car will be wooping *** with stage 0, definitely u will have less chance to get pulled over by cops, compared to my stage 1 because stage 1 is gona be louder than stage 0, since stage 0 u only have a uppipe, yet that will effectively improve torque and hp gains plus with ur ecu and pulley, ur car will be sleeper/domestickiller.

unfortunately i wont be getting a stage 1 upgrade until a couple months later because my car is still 2300 miles and i want to upgrade when my car is at leasst around 5000 to be sure my car is running ok so i can t ake advantage of the dealer warranty. so if u get ur stage 0 set up first then let me know how that goes and post some pics of ur installation if u can, thanks good luck buddy.

Can cops really pull you over for your exhaust?? I think that's really not cool if they are allowed to do it? What if your car's exhaust has been ligitmatly (SP?) been put on by a shop, can they still give you greaf?

I think I have decided to go with the TurboXS Stage 2 with the RFL muffler.... I am taking RFL as REALLY F***** LOUD...heheh, but I do want my car loud, and hear that boxer engine and hear the garble of the exhaust... I love it... I just don't want it to be soooooo loud that it hurts my ears for commuting back and forth to work... I just want the most power gains!

I am not getting anything until after this winter... no sense in me getting something nice just to have the salt have it's way with it...
So I have 6 months to save up :-)

yes any aftermarket exhaust is illegal unless sold by the dealership. usually they wont care unless you are really causing a scene, but some citys have stricter cops so just depends on the cops.

xs and vishnu are the t op american wrx tuners. i would go with vishnu. both are extremely good. i dont know wats in the xs stage 2 but i do know that the vishnu stage 1 is stable and reliable and can make ur daily car hit daily high 12's with a good ddriver.

Thumbs up hks all the way

i think the carbon ti from hks is the best looking exhaust on this planet. i have seen this one in person and let me tell ya it looks even better in person. you can see that the carbon fiber on this one is some pretty high end stuff.. The carbon fiber almost looks dull, not like the shiny stuff on cheap carbon fiber hoods. this really looks good on black or white cars. also with the ti tip what more can you ask for.. great performance with looks , as far as that picture. it was taken from a tilted angle so the ground clearance may be deceiving. i have seen many sti 's and wrx's with exhaust and they all seemed to fit pretty good as far as ground clearance

i really wanted the Carbon Ti, but it was way outa my budget. The clearance is really good. i'll post some pics tomorrow of my exhaust. non carb though.

downshift, perhaps you can elaborate on WHERE you got that carbon ti exhaust picture. you should at least address it rather than let your initial post sit there misleading people. we have multiple accounts from actual carbon ti owners stating that your picture is not a good illustration of ground clearance.
