Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

What else do I need to consider before installing this?

Keep the heat shield. It does almost as good a job as heat wrap tape for reducing underhood temps. It'll work even better if you wrap the uppipe underneath the heat shield. Does anybody have any problems with flanges cracking on wrapped uppipes?

Tip: Be more specific in your Subject line to get people to view your thread, i.e. "What else do I need to consider before installing uppipe?"

I would get rid of the egt sensor and get a "fix'. Without the cat there the sensor's useless and it will likely fail due to the extra flow and heat. Why risk having any deris getting drawn into the turbo?
