Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

WHAT do I do NOW?

Do the Intercooler hoses. the vishnu ones are great, (I own them) but there are cheaper places to get them. both the SamCo and Perrin hoses are good, too.

If you are prepping for future BIG-POWER mods, then start with a Walbro Fuel pump (relatively easy mod), STi (or higher flow) injectors (PITA mod) and some colder spark plugs. this will prepare your car for a bigger turbo, and will not hurt you now.

Shop around for upgraded turbo's. You can find used ones for ~$500, too.

Good luck, but don't forget the handling mods... they're lots of fun, too.

I second that suggestion. Howabout saving up the money instead of just doing it in small steps? In my mind you might as well do it right. I mean it is a pretty big investment already. It would suck if you screwed up your car up for some reason. So I would just save and go with an upgraded turbo kit that will have injectors and the new fuel pump and everything and do it at once. Handeling mods might be more worth your money right now. Also have you done any brake upgrading? I would think with your current upgrades that might be the next *important* step if you havnt already done so.
