What to do about Cobb dp?

Hi,

I ordered my Cobb dp back in early march. i was told to expect about a 6 week delay due to manufacturing. However i called them yesterday(19th) and was told to expect another 6-7 weeks. Should i wait it out(want to do stage 2 soon), or should buy a turbo xs dp and get it in like 3-4 days?

I must interject. I have no doubt that the Cobb DP is an outstanding piece. I have the AP and I love it. Cobb makes some great product and they have amazing customer service. However, other DPs such as the Helix are extremely similar to the Cobb DP in both look and performance. I'm running the Helix up and down with a Borla original (not the Hush) cat-back and the AP at stage 2. I just love the setup. I truly believe that the Helix DP is just as good as the Cobb one, and it costs a whole lot less. Make up your mind about the wait, but if you decide to cancel the order, go with Helix.

THe problem with the Helix is for those of us who want to retain a cat. The Cobb D/P with cat is almost unique in that it has a cat, 3" piping, and it mates with the factory cat-back.

The Bosal DP only replaces one cat, has a divorced wastegate flow, and also mates with the factory cat-back. I guarantee it's cheaper than the Cobb too.

I believe Stromung makes COBB's dp's. You may want to look into it. I have a Stromung TBE with AP stage 2 and i love it.
