forged rods are the strongest. i'd look into the forged JDM STi rods, or something from a company such as Carillo (i may have misspelled the name).

JDM STi Spec C and RA rods are forged, and I believe Crower and Easgle make forged EJ20 rods. Just about any of them will be strong enough to make 2.0 liters' worth of power.

pretty, you have any experience with TI rods? was talking to a buddy of mine who owns a cnc shop about fabing some up.

No, we havent bought any Ti rods... Imagine a full set of forged, that is the price for ONE ti rod... Not really worth the money in my opinion.

We have run Ti rods in some of the air-cooled VW's. VERY expensive Jet rods. You might call Roger Crawford @ 714 871 1940 in Fullerton. I have seen some Subaru heads on his flow bench before, so I know he does some Subaru stuff.

place in china will custom them for 500 or so a pop.. (read 2 g for a set)

ya u can say they are a bit expensive.
