well.. i'm TOTALLY new to scoobs..
hows it goin everyone.. i'm new to these forums.. i just got a 2002 WRX wagon.. and lovin it.. i'll take some pics for you guys in the next day or so.. umm im just boggled on the type of turbo upgrade to get.. i was a former eclipse gst owner and i liked the forced performance turbos for them.. but now that i changed i dont know exactly which upgrade is better for the wrx engine. People have been telling me get HKS.. but i dunno. i did a search and found someone said something about Forced Performance turbos but do they come with all the hardware i will need to set it up? i narrowed it down IC wise to the GReddy FMIC.. now i just need help with a turbo upgrade.. price wise.. i want to spend up to about 1500 or so.. i want to make fully up to about 400hp if not more in the long run.. so getting a turbo that i wont need to upgrade again would be nice.. thanks for your help..

I'm totally new also
I have had my 2002 for a week, but I have been lurking on this board for over a year. I think it is easiest to use one of the staged packages from turboxs or vishnu. You need to be prepared with the exhaust and chip and fuel before you get a new turbo.
Are you looking to get 400hp at the wheels?

IHI VF series turbos are good, reliable, and JDM!
Power Enterprises and Greddy are also excellent choices. HKS turbos are difficult to work with; they require a lot of modification of the stock engine internals and externals in order to work properly on our WRXs. There's a thread here somewhere that addresses that issue if you're interested. Congrats on your new car, hope you enjoy it for years to come!
