Wastegate T-section question

Hi,

I have a 02 WRX, I have not been looking at the engine for quite a long time.
Recently had a air condition repair done.

And now I notice the T section, at3 way tube connection, one end of the tube is capped with a plug.

Attach a picture of the area.

Can someone tell me if this is normal?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Steven

It is not normal. That hose it supposed to go to the electronic boost control solenoid, which is under the black plastic cover right by the passenger side strut tower.

You can either pick up an electric boost control solenoid, or run a manual boost controller.

The hose has a plastic connector joining the hose.
I think the plastic is "aged", it's snapped by itself.
I took it to a shop and that guy replace with a new vaccum tube.
Fixed.

Thanks
