I personaly run the samco. I honestly believe they are both about the same. The Vishnu hoses are from a different company then samco ( some people thought that samco was just making them for Shiv) so the molding is a little different.

I run the Vishnu IC hose set but Shiv told me that the Samco set will work fine.

You can usually find Samco IC hoses for a good price in the For Sale by Vendors forum. Use the Search field at the bottom of that page.

Be sure to get the color that you can live with. Black is stealth!

I just got my Samcos for $110. Installed it today. Do you guys notice anything better with the hoses installed? I haven't tried out my car yet.

Apart from differences in casting and material (our is more multilayered and impregnated with fiberglass for added strength), both hoses should work the same. The main reason we had a set built to our specs was that we were seeing tears with the regular silicon hose caused by the use of hose clamps without rolled edged.

yea, the samco hoses do tear due to the clamps being too tight on them.

Thumbs up

First gen Samco hoses here, bought in May of 02'.
They fit poorly, but worked well once I got them on. Be sure to use Mikalor style clamps, and you're good to go.
