VF34 + Maddad Stealthback woes.

Welp, I'm just about as frustrated as they come. I just got back from my second tuning attempt gruppe-s and I'm bald now from pulling all of my hair out. Poor Mike spent hours and hours trying to get some reasonable nuts out of my VF34 last night and another hour today and barely 220whp came out, 228 was my best pull, avg was right around 220 with 210lb-ft. He tried everything under the sun trying to eek out a few more ponies from my car and it just wheezed away because it couldn't breathe. I have a maddad catted "stealthback" , PDE flex up, VF34, pinks, FP, and accessport.

Has anyone heard of anything like this? Does anyone have any comments about the Helix catted DP with a borla hush catback having a VF34 blow through them(what I'm thinking about going to)? I won't go catless because I dealt with that with my supercharged accord and wasn't keen on the burning eyes bit at a stoplight, and I do like the environment a little . I'm concerned about having at least one cat in, and I'd like to keep the noise to a minimum, and absolutely no coffee can exhaust, the stock 05 exhaust it to close to it as is.

Please help, this is making me nuts.

Mike didn't offer any suggestions? 220 whp, that's like stage 2. Sorry to hear. Hopefully you figure something out. If it doesn't work...sell me your vf34 set up. jk

Mike was pointing fingers at the DP, but there's a few folks on nabisco with the same DP as me making 220whp with the stock turbo. A few mentioned I could be leaking boost through my rice whistle, I mean BOV, so I'll I'll be putting on my stock BOV the instant I get home tonight. Is the stock BOV enough for the VF34 or should I look at getting an STi one or something meaner(I have a GFB stealth right now). I don't care if it's full recirc or not as I've been running my Stealth at barely audible levels because the noise was getting on my nerves.

I just ordered a borla hush to see if the stock can is affecting anything, plus I wanted something that was a tad more audible and not as coffee can looking as the stock 05 exhaust.

The stock wrx by-pass valve is good up to 20psi. You shouldn't be running that much boost with the vf34 and stock block so it should work fine.

Bov..

i have the turbo smart 50/50 it actually increased my horse power held boost better i wanted to make sure it made a difference so i put back the stock back on and lost power... im putting out 200 whp and 200 torque with just helix up-pipe, catless dwn-pipe, and cat-back with no reflash, funny to i went to smog my car at school and my HC, CO, and O2 were good at idle my HC were at 150 then at 2500 drop to 65, but im not sure about my nox cuz it was on a four gas analyzer it would pass smog but it wouldnt pass visual for sure
