go with vf34 unless you plan on running better than 91 octane

I don't think this is good info. Both turbos are close to the same, except the 16G will pull harder uptop. Lag will be minimal between the two. If i where you i would go for the 16G, as it is upgradeable, unlike the VF series turbos which you can do very little to.

turb

If i were u id look at the big 16g, its a lil more money but the top end power that ull get out of it will be a huge difference. But if you are going between just these two id say the 16g, it spools nearly the same just more power uptop, and if u wanted to track it and ran like 103 octane ud see huge gains, but the vf34 is a great daily driver, but if u ever want more power your going to have to take it out and get a bigger one.

Get the 16g. it s capable of more power and still spools really well.

You will not be able to run high boost with a 16g on 91 without risking det. That is where mitsu turbos shine is in the 20+ psi range but both are good turbos and that is why I made that statment. If you plan on WI or alky or mixing your gas then by all means go with the 16g but you will not see that much more from a 16g pushing the same psi or at least I have yet to see it in person. Remember numbers are numbers.

Still the 16g moves more air than the 34. 16 psi out of the 16g will make more power than 16 psi out of the 34. Also with a good tune 19-20 psi is safe on 91 oct.

were talking 5-10hp difference at the same psi and like I said before I have yet to see the difference in person just on paper.

Ditto

The vf34 is more proven. Both should make similiar results on 91 octane.
