Vacuum hose Mod ????'s

I went and bought 3/16 hose to replace the vacuum line from the T to the solenoid. As i pulled off the old line i noticed that it was actually three pieces with two little plastic hose splice's.
I am supossed to replace all this with a ONE piece 3/16 hose???
Right?

No you were supposed to buy a 3/16th restrictor. That is a little plastic piece that goes inbetween the factory hoses.

Ok My Bad. Glad i asked before i did it. I kept trying to figure out how the picture didnt really match up with the replacement of the whole hose??? Dumb!! But learning.
