i was just wondering... which would be better to get first? Getting the UTEC chip or getting the TurboXS turbo-back exhaust system...

the utec will give u a bigger hp gain i think. im not sure on the prices but if the utec is less than the TBE then i would get it.

complete the basic bolt-on's first, and that include, up, tbe, silicon hoses.....after that, utec will really help......if u start w/engine management right off the bat, you wont be using it to it's full potential

I'd get a turboback and Cobb Stage 2...and leave those UTEC piggybackers in the dust, and have $600 more in your pocket!

Go with the utec. It is worth every penny. I just put mine in last week and I love it. Reflashes are not as good because every time you add mods you have to get another reflash. With the utec you can just download new maps wright from your pcu. You get more hp from the utec than a tbe. When you add the tbe just go to the turbo xs wedsite and download stage 2. For the tbe go with the helix up/down pipe combo and the hks hi-power exhaust. Go catless if you can.

People who can tune or can easily access a tuner would be better off with a UTEC.

Don't get a cobb stagesd map because you have to follow their pre-required upgrades. Get the UTEC for flexibility.

I mean what if I dont want to use a STI injectors, IHI turbo, or stock intercooler. I may want UR 600cc injectors, 18g turbo and a turboxs fmic in the future. Some of us may want more than 280 whp. Although the cobb packages are great and are renowned for their simplicity. If 280 whp is your goal go for it, but me I want a little closer to 400.
