i have done a few uppipes as well and i have never gone wrong with oem gaskets.

You might want a downpipe gasket too. I had new uppipe gaskets so no leaks there. But the downpipe has developed a slight leak.

You are one in a hundred my friend. I've down the downpipe on my car about 20 times. Not once did I replace it. I've also done downpipes for friends and never had a leak at all.

Maybe. But I hear about people resusing uppipe gaskets too.
