Hey Slick50,
Are there any points/tips you can give me about the uppipe install? I have my Vishnu uppipe that i'm just dying to install but not sure if I have the time or skills to do so. Was there anything you came across that I should watch out for? Any hints you can give to make it a little smoother? How long did it take you and what route did you take?

Thanks,
Todd

If there was a leak would you hear it throughout the entire RPM range or just under boost.

My turbo defintely is louder, but kind of sounds fluttery, this would have anything to do with a leak would it?

Thanks in advance for any help
"fluttery turbos" are caused by the "lumpy" boxer exhaust causing uneven pulses of gas pressure which in turn cause the wastegate to open slightly more, in time with those pulses. the up pipe cat used to smooth these pulses out some. if you think it's loud now, wait till you put on a downpipe!

uppipe leaks are loud, mostly heard continously while under boost. it is only when the turbo is "working hard" that appreciable backpressure exists in the uppipe/manifold.
