uppipe and downpipe, show higher boost!?

uppipe and downpipe, show higher boost!?

This past weekend I installed my uppipe and downpipe and noticed increase in boost presure after mods.....I have no form of boost control on the vehicle other than stock(however MBC is in the mail) the only other mod is K+N air filter(with more parts in boxes)
anyway I have peaked at 1.08 bar in 3rd and 4th when before it was closer to .96 bar

I am assuming this is to be expected but just wanted to know your thoughts or if any of you had experienced this as well.....thanks alot

btw 1.08 bar = 15.6 psi
.96 bar = 13.9 psi

not to be sarcastic, but isn't this why you BOUGHT those pipes?

incidentally, you should also see those peaks coming on a bit sooner. have you seen that happen?

after my gauges the exhaust is where i'm working on next.
