upipe (install) instructions?
upipe instructions.
im going to be puttin on my helix uppipe tommorrow and i was just going to see if anyone had any pointers or warnings for me . i heard this isnt a fun task .
and another thing some one said i would need an o2 removal wrench but i think he was talkin out of his a** (idk know if you can say that haha) .
so yeah anything would be helpful thanks .
i have an 05' wrx with helix exhuast and downpipe .
and if anyone is really bored they can jusr write out a step by step. haha

Here's an uppipe installation tutorial from Scoobymods.com, although sometimes you have to be a registered member before you can view the pics in some tutorials.

The up pipe that came with his car is a potential grenade waiting to assplode into big chunks. Then those big chunks will hunt down the exhaust turbine on a mission to destroy it.
Even if the cat doesn't assplode, it's holding back horsepower and making it harder for the turbo to spool up. Replacing it with an open pipe decreases turbo spool time and adds a few more horsepower. Not to mention, the only time that particular cat does anything is on a cold start. It's only there for cold start emissions. After the engine is warm, it essentially does nothing.
