Talking Up-pipe question

I'm thinking about getting an up-pipe for my 04 WRX wagon. I already have a Helix highflow Dp and megan turboback exhaust setup.

I was just wondering what are the pros and cons of getting a up-pipe and if i should get a catted or noncatted. Are there any good brands out there?

Nothing but good from a NONcatted up-pipe. Just NEED some ENGINE MANAGEMENT. Pros... more hp(with a tune), quicker spool, no pieces of cat breaking off and flying into your turbo. Cons... need EM

i think what u really mean, is whether u should get a flex or non flex uppipe.

There are pros and cons to both flex and nonflex. Search and u will see

But for now, get an hks uppipe (it is nonflex). It's fairly inexpensive and fits well.

Oh dude, get Engine Management as soon as possible. You are asking for problems running TBE w/o EM
