I am new to the WRX world ...so I am still learning. After reading several pages I decided to start slow.

I want to give my WRX wagon a little more go....and I am thinking about the following mod:

- Perrin uppipe
- Perrin down-pipe
- Stromung exhaust

Questions:
-Will this mod give me more 'go power', meaning better acce. ?
-Do I need to worry about any ECU issues, or is this just 'plug' and go mod ?

From my knowledge. The uppipe will not produce power but instead improve spooling of the turbo. Some people have experienced the boost threshold starts 500rpm earlier. The turbo back exhaust will open things a lot more and will increase your power. The decreased backpressure on the turbo will make it more efficient also. I think they are mods well worth doing.

Just a note: keep the stock stuff you take off. You'll be glad you did.

 

...therefore, by adding a cat-back exhaust I will get increased (even little) power already....
And if go for a full turbo back mod (down-pipe...etc) will give me eventually the best bang for the money right ?

you'll get a good amount of HP just from those. a lot more than most cars. and you'll DEFINATELY feel a difference. next is time to get a BC
