Turboxs turbo back exhaust advice please!
I tried a search to find some opinions on the TXS turbo back exhaust. I am thinking of purchasing one, but would like some feedback from anyone running the system. If you have this system, do you like it, was the install difficult, did you notice power gains, and if so was low end, mid range or top end most effected. Is there anything to dislike? Please help me make an informed decision. I have read the turbo back shootout, but really the best way to gauge a system is from those who are familiar with it. Thanks, any input is welcome.

Car Info: dangerous with a wrench
I have it, and I love it. The car is noticeably more responsive, especially when this exhaust is combined with a catless uppipe. The installation was easy (although I didn't do it myself, I had the guys at MPJ do it for me). Overall, the flexibility of this exhaust (with the interchangable cat/straight-pipe section) is what sold me initially, and the dravebility, power gains, and (with the RFL muffler) the sound of the exhaust has made me a very satified customer.

I've been told that the TXS downpipe especially isn't the best piece available. I haven't read anything officially, I've just heard this a few times from people at different shops. Personally I'm going with the M2 Performance turbo back. I saw one today and was instantly sold.

Correct. Tad you can't go wrong with TurboXS's system. If you went with M2, you would have an overly priced system that didn't make the most HP
But the fitment it great, the gains to be had are excellent. You'll feel it everywhere in the powerband.

Back to turbo XS, I am deciding to buy this system for a number of reasons. One, Phil at turbo XS is extremely helpful and has a great amount of engineering knowledge. He does a great job explaining over the phone and via e-mail how their products work, and is never pushy to sell. I guess a degree in engineering helps. Their systems are guaranteed for five years against defect. Ha! Build quality. My overall experience with turbo xs has been excellent in the past. They also show a turbo back exhaust dyno plot with realistic stock numbers as a test on their dyno Then they compared it to their exhaust only on the same stock car. I have run over other similar dyno plots that show just under 200 WHP on a stock wrx, come on! Then these other companies show their exhaust claims to be gained on a 200 whp wrx, and it makes the test unsound or incorrect. Turbo xs is straight up, I'm going with them!
