What kind of turbo timer? Did he use a harness? mine went in, in about 10 minutes with the harnes and works perfectly. Did you buy the TT used? I hate to sound mean but did the guy who installed it know what he was doing?

Check the e-brake ground connection on the turbo timer. If it thinks the e-brake isnt on then it wont leave your car running. Thats the most likely thing wrong.
E-brake=parking brake

Good call, I had the exact same problem and that's what it was.
You don't want to hook it up to the brake you can just ground it.

You should hook it up to the ebrake though. This way if you walk away with the timer running and someone breaks into you car, most people naturally put the ebrake down, and this will shut the car off. It stops the stupid thieves

Oh yeah, that and it'll keep your car from rolling away when the engine is on

That's a good point. I just grounded mine. If their gonna steal it. their probably going to have to break the window. And they can go far with the TT. Plus the stearing is locked when you pull out the key. So if they want it they will have to try hard anyway.

As for the rolling away. I would hope everyone who drives a stick sets the e-brake. Good advice though.
