Ok. I get that for the visual, but it won't pass for the actual emissions one either

Thanks,

I have a plack perrin one and it went unnoticed. It will not affect the emissions...just visual.....where are you located? If you are thinking about getting one, get a black one.

But to answer your original ? no not smog legal.

Oh hmm thats a hella god idea. I was going to have a local shop do the install but I didn't wanna take it on and off every time I had to do smog. I'm in Livermore, CA

I wouldn't worry about it. Get the Perrin black one. Only a Subaru mechanic is gonna knof the difference. I passed with an spt intake, bosal up pipe, catback, Sti intercooler etc. just go to one of the high volume smog shops.

Are you doing other mods other than just the turbo inlet?

I feel there is other stuff you can do more bang for your buck.

While you are doing the inlet think about TGV deletes.
