Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

I'm sure it'll work but there will be a lot of turbo lag. The extra displacement of the STi motor will help a bigger turbo spool quicker.

There's no point in putting a T67 on a stock wrx motor. The motor won't be able to spool that turbo at all. Get a FP Green if your looking for great top end.

The answer is no. The only way to realistically run that turbo is with more displacement then a 2.0. You have to understand that even though rotary engines are small they produce alot of power and flow alot more air than ej20 motors do. So even though the rotary is somewhere around 1.3liters the amount of air it flows is equal to a 2.6-2.7liter motor. That is why that engine can run a t78 or t88.

Twin T78's on RX-7? Nobody does it. They have single T78 and T88 kits for that car, but not the twins. Unless in it is a Cosmo 3-rotory engine, but they there will be no room.

I am running T67 kit on my WRX with a 10 cm^2 housing.

That kit made 305 wheel horsepower on Shiv's Dynamic Dyno on pump gas. It spooled up at around 5000RPM but the kick in the nuts is crazy after that. That is by no means an auto-x turbo.

Then I got a built motor and easily made about 20 horsepower more, much more torque and much less lag. Still on CA sucky pump gas.

Now I am building the motor even more so more power is in the works.

In the meantime, I got myself a nice JDM EJ207 w/ AVCS so we'll see how that works.

Of course.

I did re-do the downpipe and uppipe adapter it came with.

The dp it came with was probably made for a 1.2 Civic or some ****, because it is like 1.75". The uppipe adapter was even worse. I will show pics later. I used BOZZ Speed GC8 uppipe adapter (which will work 4 u) and modded it to clear the firewall. Also, I routed the wastegate back into the downpipe. So, it all should be good.

The BOZZ Speed turbine adapter includes uppipe. It is one peice. I am not sure if they still make it. You can check, hehe. You are in Japan. They used to sell it as a part of their 20G turbo setup kit.

'neversatisfied' threw that on his stock wrx + stock fuel + no EMS and ran a 12.6 @ 107 with the stock trans. Sounds pretty ****in' harsh and stupid but take it as it is. Now he's building his stuff and I'm sure an 11 second pass is quite easy.

Really?

I ran 12.6@112 with US EJ20, FMIC and TECIII with it. That was when I made the torqueless 305hp in the begining.

So I guess that is pretty much it's limit on a stock EJ20.
