For faster spoolup of the turbo, do the uppipe upgrade. Perrin, PDE, Vishnu, TurboXS, gruppe-s. I, personally, think that an uppipe is an uppipe is an uppipe. As long as it comes with gaskets, bolts, and has no cat it will work. Other people swear by certain brands.

For more power, free up your exhaust. Start with the Downpipe, then muffler, then midpipe. There are innumerable brands you can use. Do a search and form your opinion. There is a LOT of info.

Intercooler hoses are a cheap, fast, upgrade. Samco, Perrin, Vishnu

Do all of these, and you will free up your intake/exhaust system. After that, you can work on turbo/injector/fuel pump/FMIC/EM upgrades.

The best place to start is the exhaust, as this is probably the most restrictive part of the car when stock. The up-pipe is the first thing I would swap out. If you live in a cold climate or a climate that changes from hot to cold a lot then youll want one with a flexjoint in it.

Start with cat-back exhaust. After that, consider chip reflash (Cobb and others) and/or turbo-back exhaust and up-pipe. Do all three and you're about at the limit before starting to swap out the turbo and bigger projects like that. Should give around 260-270(?) with those listed mods, depending on who you talk to and on what day.
