Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Stroked WRX 2.0L???

Hello. I was wondering what's the most displacement I can get out of my stock 2.0L block?

Reason why I'm asking is that in the near future, I'm gonna do some engine internal upgrade for my car and I might as well get it stroked to 2.4L and run a huge turbo with the set up...

I think 2.2L is the current kit. Though beware when you change internals.

With the greater stroke you basically are increasing the distance needed for the piston to travel which means slightly longer rev up times. But the torque gains are great.

I would advise good connecting rods since your using boost and make sure your not changing your compression ratio to something too high. Otherwise you'll find out what blowing a head gasket is like with the added bonus of maybe throwing a rod :P

yeah man, STi shortblock + forced pistons is under 2000. Cheapest stroker kit is over that.
