Gains through exhaut and engine management mods with the stock turbo are yielding on the order of 60 wheel horsepower above stock.
Example:
Vishnu Stage 1: ~215 HP vs ~160 - 165 stock on their dyno (Dyno Dynamics)
TurboXS Stage 3: 242HP vs. ~165 - 170 stock on their dyno (Dynapack)
With the right supporting mods, you can come pretty close to maxing out the stock fuel injectors with the stock turbo.
