stock exhaust design temp

Hey, dont know if this has ever come up, but i was just wondering what the max design temp was for the stock exhaust system and what the normal operation temps are.

Subaru pub

There's a subaru pub that talks about the design of the exhaust valves and includes this sentence.

Exhaust gas from a turbo engine can reach 900C (1,652F).

That's the only ref I can recall.

1650 and under is what is considered a "safe" temperature.

I don't know if they have a "design" temp and it also varies on how you are driving.

When I am idling it is around 600 deg, cruising on the freeway is around 1400 and on the racetrack it is around 1600 to 1650.
