stock BOV question

I see here people are buying aftermarket BOV for the noise which is pointless just a waste of money, unless the car is highly modified, on the stock BOV the hose thats used to put the air back into the intake, if i get that unhooked, woudnt create the same noise?
Any damage or problems will i run into doing that?

It didn't have anything to do with what type of BOV you had. It had more to do with the results of running the BOV to the atmosphere instead of recycling the air it vents.
