Car Info: '05 WRX Wagon, some goodies...
Greetings, have gathered the VF39, Sti tmic, injectors & walbro, all for my '05 WRX wagon, and I wonder if I need:
Sti splitter & hood scoop
different y-pipe (this I already know)
what ELSE don't I know that will save me a headache?
Forgive me, but I don't know where this particular knowledge is kept on this site, so any hint will be MUCH APPRECIATED. I have learned, there is NO NEED to learn things the hard way if one of you people already has...
thanks, Justin
ps to moderator, if this is in the wrong place, please forgive, thnx

I would recomend the Sti scoop and splitter. The bigger scoop will give you more air flowing into the IC (good) and since you have the sti intercooler, you will need a bigger splitter to fit over it. The stock splitter will not fit properly over the sti ic unless you modify it.
Running those will give you more cool air and help the turbo run more effecient.
ALso, Im assuming you already have a catless uppipe and aftermarket downpipe/turboback exhaust AND engine management such as the accessport or ecutek. Dont bother with the turbo if you dont have the exhaust done already
Good luck with your project
