STI motor

where can i get a STI motor,and how much will that be ?

The 04? You can get from a dealer, I was hearing the short block was like 3500 or something. Not sure what a full engine would cost. You can start at the dealer, or try ebay, everything is for sale on ebay. Also you may wanna look at i-speedusa.com if you blew your engine or want an upgrade they have a lot of good paths you can take.

Car Info: 1993/2000/2001 GF4 mostly red

The STi shortblock is $13-1500 from the dealer. I don't know how much a complete engine is, but I would guess a lot more than $3500. As for getting a wrecked car's motor, good luck. They are still so few and far between that you would spend less to trade in your WRX for an STi and get all the other goodies too.

Is that $1300-$1500 for a short block? Does that include crank, rods and pistons. That would be a great deal.

2.5 STi short blocks come fully built to oem 2.5 Sti standards. That means, pistons,rods, etc.

sti short block?

In other words all you would need is a new head gasket and you are good to go is that correct?
What i mean is sti short block can bolt onto wrx with no mods?
