If you're talking about for a WRX, no you do not need the STi rails, as long as you get the JDM STi pink top feed injectors (which is what EVERYONE just calls "STi injectors").
The 04 USDM STi injectors are side feed and incompatible with the WRX fuel setup.

Anytime bro. You should check out www.mpjperformance.com in Hayward if you didn't know about them already. They rock, and have great prices.

I know you were asking Mr. Pizza this, but you should install your stuff before doing the tuning. Are you doing a dyno tune or just a reflash? If you go to a place and they just reflash it, a lot of the times, they can test drive your car just to make sure there isn't anything noticeable like pinging or things of that nature. If you are using standard stuff that is normally used (ie. IHI turbo, STi injectors, Walboro fuel pump), everthing should be fine. If you use different stuff, their baseline maps may not be 'exactly' what you want and you may want to have your car custom tuned. Mr. Pizza will now speak and probably put something in there for me to go do something with myself or something since I butted in.
