STi block on WRX Heads??

STi block on WRX Heads??
i have blown piston rings on my '02 WRX block and after doing some research i have found that i can get the STi block for $1500 from Subaru, correct? and with the block there are no other mods i need to do in order for it to mate to my '02 WRX head? how does this swap really benefit me?
my mods so far are:
VF22
STi injec
HKS header
HKS uppipe
HKS downpipe
HKS CF.Ti Exhaust
TXS unichip
Intake
wont this up my liter output to 2.5?

I-speed has done this with amazing results, something like 280+whp with 15.5 psi on pump gas (I think the turbo was an FP green...can't remember).
It's definitely doable, but the cams are the weak point of the setup.
