so as many of you will already know this is the exhaust going for 200 on ebay(250 with shipping). I have been searching around on the other forums and keep getting mixed reviews. I'm wondering if any of you have this on your car and what your experience has been? Does it really rust??? Tone? Is it too raspy? How big of a difference does the silencer make? All that good stuff.

I'm tight on cash so this looks like it could be my savior from my stock exhaust but i'm uneasy about it being so cheap.

I don't know if I have an SR*S one, but I did buy it off ebay for about the same price....nice exhaust, not raspy, it will mate up with your stock downpipe *donut gasket*, and fitment was just fine. Even had the 'angle out' look in the back. Mine is for sale if you want....will take $150 for it since you're somewhat local. I've only had it since around Christmas.....I live in Vacaville but work in Concord. Hit me up if you want.

thats not a sr*s exhaust.

the sr*s catback has a flex pipe in the midpipe, and the flange is solid on both sides of the midpipe.
i have just installed this exahust on my car a few weeks ago with a invidia downpipe. fitment is great. for sound clips check youtube, im sure people have videos of how it sounds

 

ive had an ebay exhaust.. and its a know fact that fitment issues exist. its nothing an exhaust shop cant fix, but an extra hassle to deal with. i had a crappy exhaust leak at the helix dp. it also rubbed a bit in places. and yes mine started showing rust a year after install.
