SOMEONE has to do some WI R&D

Well not me, cause I'm a broke college student with 90 dollars in the bank.

But seriously, the GN guys have been running 110 race gas chips on 91 octane pump gas using WI.

And the MR2 guys are doing 1.5 bar w/o detonation on the stock IC and J-spec turbo

I 'm thinking, everyone's worried how we can't get to 17 psi on 91 octane in Cali with the hot summer. I'd be willing to bet my ***** a WI setup would be able to run 17, 18 psi safetly w/ just an uppipe.

Maybe I'm just ignorant of what's been happening, but WI seems really ideal for our situation.

i've only seen information on one impreza running WI, and i think it was an RS fitted with an aftermarket turbo. he was able to run silly boost levels without detonation, but it was a pretty extensive installation. try http://www.scoobymods.com i think there is an article posted there regarding the car.
