Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

So whats the deal with the spt intake???

Thumbs down You can say that again!!!

>>> Jamie (Subiegal) will say anything to sell parts. She is a vendor as well as a moderator on the other board so take her recommendations with a grain of salt. <<<

When I 'reviewed' her parts knowledge on Nabisco (negative) she pulled the thread ~ replaced it with a glowing review thread ~ AND gave me 'bad boy' points... Can you say, "Goodbye Nasioc?"

I did find out that SPT did not combine the intake and the heat shieldin a bundle. The heat shield goes for $70 bucks. Bastards!!!

According to Larry Kelso, DFOM for this district...

...it also carries the advantage of NOT voiding your warranty.

The factory airbox won't void the warranty and is 50-state legal. When professionally tuned, factory airbox will make similar power and torque compared with aftermarket or SPT intake. More than adequate for VF34 or VF22 turbo upgrades.
