Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

So no one has answered a modded WRX intake question

I've gone through the WRX 2.0L forum and have only seen "intakes won't do anything unless you're making over 300HP or have a FMIC"

So, what if my WRX is making over 300HP? Only 240 AWHP, but approx 300HP. Also, the the hole where the top of my air box tab goes into is broken, so there's a slight chance that there may be a TINY leak after the filter. So, though my only power mods are a VF-35, supporting mods (ECUTEK, STi injectors), and a Turbo back, is it worth getting a Short Ram/CAI or would it be better to fork down the 80 something$$ and get a new air box? Is the power gain significant enough with these mods?
