smoke coming through vents while cooldown

What's up guys, I've got a question...At the end of my commute I have to drive up a steep hill...sometimes when I get to the top and let my car cool down when I park, smoke comes out through the vents (not much, very little). My only mods are up pipe/downpipe/catback...I don't see how this could cause it to happen? Was it because of removing the heat shield? I'm not leaking any oil or anything... any input will help.

Thanks
Scub.

Yes, the dash vents...and no it's not from the a/c. I can smell something slightly burning for a minute or so....

hmmm...I don't think it's my clutch because for the majority of the way up the hill I'm cruising in 3rd gear at 3000rpm and under 40mph

I would take it to get looked at. My truck did the same thing, and it ended up being some wires that were melting together. If I had left it for awhile, then it could have caused a fire. Better safe than sorry!

Could be nothingl, but have it looked at. Theres sometimes a burning smell in my dads legacy and it turned out to be nothing according to the dealers although we still smell it sometimes.

Peaty, how great does it feel to post a link again?

When it happens does it smell like burning oil or burning plastic? Next time it happens can you look under the hood and see if it's coming from there? The intake for the HVAC system is by the wipers on the right side I think.
