Silencer removed. Debate moves on

To plug the hole or not plug the hole? To cut the snorkus in half and place it back again? To buy one of those cool guys that looks like the snorkus in half? To run some pipe into the fender? whats are todays thoughts on this subject and what seems to really work well and how did you do it?... I want the updated todays version so what are your thoughts???

Remove the snorkus, take the small plastic/rubber gasket part off the airbox the snorkus plugs into remove the Plataupus (intake part over the radiator) and plug the fender. Cheap, easy and you'll get cool air. If you don't like it you can always return it back the way it was with minimal hastle.
