Short Ram Air Intake???

you might want to read through the thread titled "The cold air intake debate" at the top of this page before buying any aftermarket intake. the gist of the article is that some intakes hurt performance, other don't hurt but don't help for the ammount of $$ they cost. they are needed with a FMIC though.

Run a search. Intakes have been beaten to death here.
If you don't feel like running a search, here's the gist of it: for short ram intakes, the only people who need one are A.) those running FMIC's, B.) those making over 300 horsepower, C.) those running aftermarket turbos. For anyone else, a short ram intake is useless at best, potentially harmful at worst.
Spread the "good news" of intake to all new Impreza disciples!
