Samco MAF hose?

Samco MAF hose?
I noticed Samco makes a MAF hose for the WRX. It looks alot smoother than the stock accordian-type hose. Is there any chance this could improve performance? I know alot of people, including me, have the IC hoses because the smoother Samcos supposedly flow better to the turbo. Would the same be true for the MAF hose? I'm also curious to know if the ($305) Samco turbo inlet hose makes any difference. If anyone has any experience with these, please fill me in.
