If it was on the stock intake and there is a place to install it on the Samco inlet pipe, then it would be smart to hook it up. Although i dont know exatcly what it does, its proabbly there for a reason.

What year is your car? My 02 doesn't have that. Looks like an electrically-controlled valve.
It should be hooked up the way it was on the stock inlet, you should be able to do this by getting some additional hose.

old post but i just did this last night and only 04's have this sensor.. right now, mine aint hooked up yet... gonna need to either fabricate the stock nipple of the inlet to connect the 2 or find hose that will connect the two.. btw, yellow is soo bright!!!!!!

i too dont know what to do with that, im stumped. i tired calling perrin to see what they say but no answer?

any updates from myroncuz or slick50 as to what yall ended up doing?

what you have to do is keep the stock piece stuck on the inlet hose.. chop that off and fab a hose to mate that with the new inlet hose nipple..
