Not to be sarcastic or a jerk, but did the instruction manual say? Otherwise, most silencers have to be unbolted on either side before you use a little elbow grease to pluck it out. Good luck.

it doesnt come with instructions and there is only 1 bolt holding it in.
It's stuck
I helped install it, and instructions would have saved us a lot of time. This isnt your normal bolt on cat back

It's kind of a pain in the butt

There is a male/female connection and you use 4 springs to hold it together. I guess like motorcycle exhausts?
The part that threw us off was that there was an extra pipe that your supposed to use if you have a cat. Well being that there werent any instructions we tried to install it with the pipe not knowing any better, and wondering why it stuck out a foot extra
Anyhow, I talked to kimchee today, and he didnt try heating it up yet, so it's still stuck

The silencer in those ex. cans are wrapped in fiberglass to help with the noise level. So getting them out takes two people one to hold the end of the can and another to use a metal bar with a bend on the end, helps to have a t handle at the end of the bar that you use to pull it out. Just have to yank on one side then the other side kinda like walking it out, its a pain inthe butt, but after you get it out you'll be sooooo happy.
Just keep trying.
Good Luck

i had the same problem with my rsr, i used a pair of needlenose pliers just grip the inner part and yank,i highly recomend the rsr downpipe with this exhaust it will eliminate the adapter pipe that shrinks down to meet the stock downpipe,i would recomend this exhaust but beware it is very loud!....thats why i love it.
