reseting my ecu?

i just installed a helix downpipe and a stromung catback exhaust yesterday and i was wondering if i should re-set my ecu?

if so where is it located, how do i go about re-setting it, and how long can i drive the car without re-setting it?

Yes, unplug the negative side and step on the brake a few times leave the battery disconnected for a half hour or so.

You don't need to reset it, but I guess if you would like to start from "scratch" and let it re-adjust itself you could. I think it will automatically adjust itself around your new parts after a tank or two of gas without resetting anything. But if you'd like to, disconnect your negative battery terminal and step on the brake pedal a few times and that should reset it. I leave my battery disconnected for about 10 minutes just to make sure.

i actually had the battery disconnected the entire time of the installation and we actually did tap the break a few times, so all in all everything should be okay.
