request for information to hit high 12 sec ET's or low 13's

I am putting together an information package for a school assignment.

One of the requirements is to find out what is needed to hit 12's in a 2002-2004 WRX.

The information I need is:

1. Parts needed.
2. Cost per parts.
3. ET and a scan or image of the timeslip. This is so I can verify that the times are accomplishable.

TIA!

I think a turboxs stage 4 can help you there.
so search around for people with stages in that area.

The Vishnu Stage 2 will also get you there .....
Basically to safely reach your goals (there are other ways of accomplishing this)
1. Up-pipe
2. Turboback exhaust
3. VF30 or VF34 turbo
4. Sti pink injectors
5. fuel pump upgrade (Walbro 255 I believe)
6. intercooler hoses
7. Reflash or some sort of piggy back device
This isn't the only way and there are other ways ... but most of them are similar... meaning some exhaust work and turbo upgrade .... The cost depends on which brand you go with ... Goodluck

You've got all the info you need right here...minus prices...

Uppipe....200
turboback...800-1000
VF30/VF34...600-700
STi injectors....400
Walbro pump...100
IC hoses...150
EcuTek...750
(an upgraded IC is a good idea too...large top mounts go for about 900-1200, same for front mounts pretty much too)

those prices are pretty close to right on. So that should give you a good idea.

TurboXS Stage 4 TMIC will get you into the mid 12's, once it's tunes you can even get into the the 11's. I ran 12.9, 12.375 and 12.3 untuned. Once I had it tuned I ran 12.1, 11.98 and 11.83. Below are my power producing mods:

TXS UTEC Stage 4 map
TXS TMIC w/RFL BOV
TXS Shorty Intake
STI Injectors
Helix Upipe
Bosal Downpipe
Bosal Catback
NGK Irridium plugs +1
VF-30 turbo

Hope this helps

I was running 285 untuned and 300 tuned. I never launched pass 5K and still retain stock tranny, I've never had a problem with the stock tranny.

Thank

I have about 16k on my tranny. Although I've never had a problem with my tranny, I do recognize that it is a weak link in my setup. Hopefully in the future, I am gonna try to swap it out for at least an STI 6spd.

02silver,

I'm on the east coast so the numbers I have you were on 93 oct. I still feel confident that with the proper tuning, you could achieve your desired numbers with 91 oct. Try to give turboxs a call and see what they recommend.
