Removing the under of A/M CF hood

Im thinking of removing the under of the Roof scoops to let it do its job. Im thinkin i should probably put some mesh in the front scoop. But what about the reverse scoops? Can i do any damage to the engine by doing this if it rains?

Oh, man, please tell me you haven't bought that hood and you're just thinking about it. Even a SRT-4 owner would be ashamed to be seen with that thing installed -- holy Batmobile, Batman!

The answer is, yes, if you removed those silver panels and exposed that much of the engine, you would have problems. You'd run the risk of rust if the car sat after being rained on (lots of the engine bay is unpainted metal) and your alternator, battery and fuse box don't like being wet. You could always buy a car cover and watch the weather reports closely, and not drive in the rain...
