Remote oil filtration?

Has anyone moved their oil filter? Does anyone have any pictures of their relocation position? I've seen tons of pics of other cars, but I am really interested where people have put theirs in Subarus. I don't want to put it in the trunk or behind the front quarter panel or any craziness like that. I am just looking for a good spot that won't get heat soaked and won't be hard to change the filter when I need to.

you could put it right near the steering fluid under the stock intake or if you put your battery in the trunk you could put the filter in its place. I think that's about it.

I love the stock position because I can remove the filter at the sametime I drain the oil pan.

Thanks rustokman.

Just so you guys know, I'm not looking to move the filter location so that I can make it more convinient or easier to change. Its so I can use a different filter. And don't ask why I would want to use anything other than oem because I've already made up my mind. I just need a good location. Maybe I'll get a smaller battery and put the filter there... come on, someone must have done this...
