relocating from Cali to Arizona

I'll be moving out to Arizona for my new job in a matter of weeks, and I'll be bringing my 03 wrx with me. I have a couple questions about registration and plates and hope if any of you guys can give me any insights:

- the car is registered under both I and my dad. Since I'm the only one moving to Arizona and my dad is in CA, is my car still required to have Arizona plates? or maybe I can get away by "my dad just brought the car over to Arizona" if I ever get pulled over?

- the car has a Helix dp (missing 2 cats). Arizona laws said cars less than 5 years old are smog exempt. so if I do need to re-register my car in Arizona, I shouldnt need to switch back to a stock dp and get smogged right?

- Are Arizona smog laws a lot looser as far as modding is concerned? I'm planning to put more mods in my car. Maybe it's more beneficial to have Arizona registration on my car so I can mod the hell out of it (uppipe, bigger turbo etc..)? At least i can legally tint my front windows right?

i would do the reg here. az doesn't use a front plate, so if you mods take you to the front mount, you will be cool and won't have to relocate your plate for more air. the az laws right now are not as bad as cali. i did my emissions last week and i have 1 high flow cat in my dp. passed no problem. they will only check your OBDII and thats it. as long as you don't have cel's, you will be fine.

you still can't go too dark on your window tint. 35% for the fronts is the law i think. lots of people go darker, but you can get fined for it, it may not ever happen, but it can if the cop wants too.

let me know if you need anymore help
