not from Fresno, but the SCCA chapter there is pretty active and there are quite a few Auto-X at Castle Airport. do a google for Fresno Autocross.

 

i hit up the auto-x in fresno on 7-17-05...pretty good...i had a lot of understeer, but camber plates and sway bars will fix that...then more power once the suspension can handle it...the next one is 8-7-05 then on 8-27-05...tons of fun and bring lots of water mc420

 

i just moved to fresno receintly and i have found there aren't many subaru's here, which sucks. i just did the american auto-x race today and it was pretty good. i will be going out to most of the auto-x races in this area for the rest of the "season" so if you are interested in going or meeting up any time let me know.

 

i am up for it just got a wrx 05 wagon and looking to hook up with the local crowd.

 

I want to meet up with some of you guys too, but I never see anybody with subarus that are interested in meeting up. I got a white 04 wrx and I'm usually with my friend's white sti. We're usually @ the starbucks by riverpark on friday nights around 11ish, with all the bikers.

why did you move to fresno? i live near there (lemoore). '03 silver wrx with right front bumper damage.

 

i moved here since housing prices are still a lot lower then the bay area or sac area, and my girlfriend is planning on going to nursing school here. as well, she is from this town and all her family is here.

 

next auto-x is the 28th at castle air force base...reg starts at 7:00...i'll be there look for the yellow 03 with wheels and suspension, helix exhaust, etc.

Castle is up in Atwater, just north of Merced. Yesterday's autox was fun, lots of cars since the Nationals are coming up and the San Francisco guys like to tune there since it's concrete like Topeka. mc420, I didn't see you there, kind of hard to miss that yellow car too! The next one is 9/18 so you all have a few weeks to beg for time off or whatever it takes
