Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Prodrive is a very respectable brand. A lot of people on the boards have the Prodrive axleback, but i haven't heard much of the performance pack. Kinda expensive in my opinion.

I don't want to come across as bashing prodrive's products, but they are not the best bang for the buck you can get.

Let's look at raw data:
Prodrive's stage 2 costs $1,250 + shipping (at least $40)
You get:
intercooler hose, axle back exhaust, 3rd cat elimator, and an ECU re-flash for a claimed 40 hp. "at the wheels." Although I have heard the actual tends to be lower.

For $1,320 you could get:
Turbo-back + up-pipe + intercooler hose: $925 shipped! (subydude.com)
Cobb ECU reflash: $395
for 50 hp and 50 ft. lbs "at the wheels" with dyno plots to prove it.
And I have heard those numbers to be low.

And if you want to add more later (i.e. larger turbo, injectors, ect.) the prodrive re-flashed ECU is now useless. Whereas a reflash from Cobb is easily available.

I agree. I'd also recommend going another route. I am getting the prodrive axleback though, but would rather get a cobb accessport or UTEC than the prodrive ecu.
