problem starting????
problem starting????
When i start my car it hesitates and then starts and begins to bog before it revs itself up to reach the right amount of rpm.....my car is reflashed for turbo back exhuast but i havent recieved the exhuast yet. Could it be that my reflash is dumping to much fuel into the car

It could be, but I really, really doubt that.
Sounds like an intake path problem, MAF related in some way. If you really are bogging from too much fuel then its a post-MAF air loss. (MAF reads the air, ECU puts in commensurate fuel, air is lost between the MAF and the engine, mixture ends up being too rich. Got it?). I'd check your turbo and intercooler hoses. Make sure they are connected and clamped down well. If this is happening when you just start the car, and its a post-MAF leak, it must be a huge leak. I left my turbo outlet hose unclamped once after having to take out the IC and it didn't bog until I started laying heavily into the throttle...
Other possible issues, a very dirty or misalinged MAF. Do you have a stock intake? Are you using a aftermarked air filter that needs oiling? Aftermarket intakes often confuse the MAF unless they are made properly. Oil from filters, like K&N, eventually get onto the MAF and wreck its readings.
How is it that your ECU is flashed for a setup you don't have? That sounds like it wasn't a custom tune... ew.

what happened is i ordered my exhuast 1 month ago and it was suppose to be 2 weeks so i had my car reflashed for exhuast 1 week before i was suppose to recieve it becuase that was the only time i could get it.......all my hoses are on tight.....could it be my HKS ssq?

Did you add this BOV recently?
A reflashed ECU for mild mods like an exhaust system would not have significant changes that would affect starting, idle, or cruise conditions.

im gonna take the BOV off and see what it does....
Im gonna check my spark plugs this Saturday and check and see if they have a lot of oil on them, Im due for an oil change as well

How does a BOV affect a cold start? Atmo BOV make a car go rich because the air expected to return to the intake is going to the atmosphere when the BOV opens. On a cold start the BOV is closed and the system is still conserving air.

i found the problem.....last night when i decided to fix my problem and revert back to my stock bov i noticed the bolts were hand tight. The bov was loose agaisnt the intercooler. So i took it off checked all the fasteners and rebolted it back on. Perfect start the first time. Would that be considered a boost leak? When it was tightened down i felt a noticable difference. So im gonna try my luck at the track see if i have a time difference since this has been a problem for a couple weeks.

Yes, a loose BOV mounting would be both a boost and vacuum leak that would cause rough running.

That'll do it. A bov leak is worse than my example of a lose hose. The loose BOV is always leaking (like WW said, under boost and vacuum). The hose only leaks under boost. That acconts for the difference in the effects of our similar situations.
